THE LINE DRAWING PROJECT—
A transformative collaborative drawing project on Instagram
THE LINE DRAWING PROJECT is a continuous, global collaborative project on Instagram @the_line_drawing_project. The idea behind it is to create a long transformative chain of drawings with other established artists. Each artist first copies/repeats/takes over one element of the previously posted drawing and then creates something new.
Die Grundlage für meine Zeichnung ist das orthogonale Raster von Sheilas Haus. Meine Absicht war es, mit einer minimalen Anzahl von bestimmten Elementen eine neue Welt zu kreieren.
Die Entwicklung atmosphärischer Szenarien ist bezeichnend für meine Arbeit, in denen eigenartige Individuen gegen das Verlorensein ankämpfen. Dabei dominieren in den Darstellungen Abwesenheit und Stille.
The basis for my drawing is the orthogonal grid of Sheila's house. The intention was to create a new world with minimal number of specific elements.
My interest is to develop atmospheric scenarios in which the peculiar individuals fight against being lost. The absence and silence dominate in my work.
